Protecting the land and competitiveness of cattle markets dominate TSCRA convention
Members of the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association (TSCRA) passed four resolutions during the closing general session of the 132nd annual convention in Fort Worth. The resolutions concern inactive well plugging, anti-competitiveness of the cattle industry, non-native and invasive plant species and Hurricane Ike. more

Looking ahead, a major spring storm system crossing the U.S. will produce heavy snow in the central and southern Rockies on March 26-27 and the southern Plains on March 27-28. Snowfall accumulations in excess of 8 inches may occur from the Rockies of Colorado and New Mexico southeastward into parts of Oklahoma and Texas' northern panhandle. more
