Special session coming, Perry says
Gov. Rick Perry said Tuesday that he plans to call the Legislature back for a special session but didn't say when it would be. The agencies are set to expire as soon as September 2010, but the shutting-down process would begin a year before. Capitol speculation about when the special session would be held has shifted to July. more
