Sixteen new members join at Fannett gathering
An enthusiastic crowd of 200 attended TSCRA's membership gathering Nov. 17 at the Broussard Ranch in Fannett, Texas. Sixteen new members signed up onsite and more are expected to mail in their applications.  more
 

Giuliani discusses border fence, illegal immigration
Republican presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani said Monday illegal immigration could be stopped within three years, using existing border-enforcement technology. The former New York City mayor also said that while there are places on the border where a physical fence makes sense, a virtual fence in many areas would be better. more
 

Feeder cattle market incentives continue to develop
It is not easy, or cheap, at the current time to put weight feeder cattle, but the market is offering rewards for those creative producers who find the relatively cheapest way to do it. more

A soaking rain last weekend wet the southeastern part of the state, but more moisture is needed across Texas to hold fire dangers at bay. more
