Sixteen new members join at Fannett gathering

An enthusiastic crowd of 200 attended TSCRA's membership gathering Nov. 17 at the Broussard Ranch in Fannett, Texas. Sixteen new members signed up onsite and more are expected to mail in their applications.

Thanks to First Vice President Dave Scott and Past President Dick Sherron for their compelling membership appeals and to Bayer Animal Health for providing free TSCRA metal gate sign leases to those who joined onsite.

The event was the collective brainchild of Region 5 Regional Association Promotion Team Leader Grayson Pipkin, Special Ranger Jimmy Belt and TSCRA Directors Bill White and Leroy Ezer. Bill and Leroy, aided by Booster Stevenson, Dan Hankamer and Frank Green cooked up steaks, potatoes and green beans and Grayson’s daughter Madey eagerly served the fantastic biscuits.

Special thanks to new members Jim and Paula Broussard, who hosted the gathering at their wonderful facility. The whole Broussard family pitched in to help serve and clean up. Also helping were TSCRA Special Rangers Hal Dumas, Brent Mast and Tommy Charbula and Director of Law Enforcement Larry Gray.

TSCRA Executive Vice President Eldon White updated the crowd on the Farm Bill.
