criticized in meat quality scandal
As the meat industry
scrambles to recover from a public-relations disaster over an
undercover video of abused cattle, the secretary of agriculture and
at least one congressman have picked an unlikely target to share in
the blame: the Humane Society of the United States.

buys 4,000 tons of U.S. beef
The Indonesian government has allowed two companies to import 4,000
tons of beef from the United States for April delivery, marking the
resumption of U.S. beef import to the country.

'virtual fence' along Mexico border is flawed
Homeland Security
officials have told federal lawmakers that the "virtual fence" along
the U.S.-Mexico border in Arizona doesn't meet contract requirements
for detecting border intrusions and some of its technology will have
to replaced by this summer.

Antonio. The conference, "Effective Employee Management for
