Call your Senators re Farm Bill amendments

The Senate has brought the 2007 Farm Bill to the floor for consideration; amendment votes are expected tomorrow.

The agreed upon process will be 20 amendments per side with that list being made up of amendments on a first come-first served basis. During debate, if one Senator objects to the consideration of the amendment, then it will be thrown out and not debated.

Please make a final push of calls to your senators and urge them to oppose the Tester, Harkin, Grassley and Enzi anti-marketing choice amendments!

Texas U.S. Senators

Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison
202) 224-5922

Sen. John Cornyn
(202) 224-2934
